Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known as the actress who played Violet Plunkett, in CBS' sitcom Mom. Calvano has a family in California, and initially was fascinated by in competitive gymnastics. Later, she decided to pursue a career path in acting. Her first screen appearance was the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS'. The biographical crime movie J Edgar was her big screen debut a year following. Through the years, she firmly established herself as one of the most prestigious actors of today's young. In recognition of her role in the show "NCIS," she received a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 in 2011. The actress was also nominated 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time for her appearance as a guest star in the comedy series of Disney XD "Kickin' It". Calvano played a part in the ensemble cast of Mom for its first three years and appeared on several occasions in the fourth. In 2015, her performance on 'Mom" was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
