Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who is on CNN as well as HLN's different platforms. On March 30, 2012, she will be the TV expert, co-executive and co-producer of a DIY NETWORK special entitled Last House ReSISTING. Her first novel to be published was EXTREME WATER, Palgrave Macmillan. It was released on January 31, 2012, by Palgrave Macmillan. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston Schneider was an all-day, week-long special assignment reporter who covered the entertainment industry and lifestyle. Her previous position was as weather forecaster for weekends at WFOR-TV, Miami. She held various reports and meteorology jobs, which included News 12 Long Island (a 24/7 cable television news network) and WXII TV in Winston-Salem. When she was in New York City, she was a fill-in weatherman for The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
